Alum Mordants - heated one hour


1.  dye concentrate 1 hour
2.  iron bath (1/4 tsp. to 3 cups distilled water) 1/2 hour







1.  dye concentrate 1 hour
2.  oxalic acid bath (1/8 tsp. to 3 cups water) 1/2 hour







1.  dye concentrate 1 hour
2.  calcium carbonate bath (1/4 tsp. to 3 cups distilled water) 1/2 hour








1.  dye concentrate 1 hour 










1.  second extraction dye concentrate (the one the yarn turned purple) 1 hour
2.  oxalic acid bath (1/4 tsp. to 6 cups water) 1/2 hour







Tin Mordant - heated one hour




1. dye concentrate 1 hour
2.  oxalic acid bath (1/8 tsp. to 3 cups distilled water) 1/2 hour







1.  dye concentrate 1 hour
2.  iron bath (1/4 tsp. in 2 cups distilled water) 1/2 hour


1.  dye concentrate 1 hour
2.  iron bath (1/4 tsp. in 2 cups distilled water) 1/2 hour
3.  oxalic acid bath 1/8 tsp. in 3 cups distilled water) a few minutes




 
1.  dye concentrate 1 hour
2.  iron bath (1/4 tsp. in 3 cups water) for 1 minute







Copper Mordant - heated one hour


 
1.  dye concentrate 1 minute
















1.  dye concentrate overnight











Wool


1.  Alum mordant for 1 hour
2.  2nd extraction dye concentrate for 1 hour

Dye concentrate turned purple when yarn was put in.  Something in the yarn - maybe calcium left from washing it in tap water?
